An Impact/Effort Grid helps teams decide which change ideas to test by evaluating their potential impact on the quality issue and the resources (effort) needed for implementation. To get the most value from this tool, be sure to complete it with your whole QI project team.
Key Definitions
Change Idea: A specific action tested to improve a problem. These can come from tools like TRIZ and Random Word Activity. You may also identify additional change ideas through completing your Driver Diagram, observations, or insights. change ideas should target the root cause and lead to lasting improvements.
